KDC's Co-op Academy

Keystone Development Center’s Co-op Academy combines cooperative education and technical assistance designed for teams of people considering or committed to worker or member ownership of a business. Whether you’re a start-up or a group of employees working with your employer to convert a business to a cooperative, Co-op Academy will prepare you for that. Businesses can be in any industry!

Successful completion of Co-op Academy will result in your laying the foundation for a viable cooperative business. The program is designed for teams working together on a single cooperative business and is best  for committed teams with a mix of talents and experience. The application process will evaluate your team’s readiness and will be your initial collaboration with KDC.

Registration cost is a $100 deposit per participant, capped at $300 per team. Upon successful completion of the program, your deposit will be returned. If payment of a $100 deposit presents a hardship, please note that in the registration window.
