The Cooperative Advantage – Legal, Financial, and Organizational Strategies
Farmers face challenges aggregating, processing, marketing and distributing products. Cooperatives leverage the energy and resources to serve a mutual need. Cooperatives, owned and operated by the people who use their services, help farmers improve marketing power and control over business decisions. Learn cooperative business strategies to attain success including Legal – bylaws/policies; Financial – accounting/equity building, and Organizational - board development governance and leadership.
Presenters: Peggy Fogarty, Executive Director, KDC *Kurtis Groff, CPA, Simon Lever* Lori Burge, Cooperative Development Consultant, KDC.
